Role description

SEI Brands is looking for a Commercial Director to build and lead its offline commercial engine in Indonesia.

This is a core leadership role responsible for modern trade, key-account relationships, regional distributors, sales execution, and trade-investment effectiveness.

The role is designed for a business builder who can combine commercial strategy with hands-on negotiation and execution during the company’s early stage.

What you'll work on

Develop and execute the national offline sales strategy.
Lead negotiations with major modern-trade retailers.
Manage listings, trading terms, promotions, and account relationships.
Select and manage regional sub-distributors.
Develop in-store activation, POSM, planogram, and visibility standards.
Own offline sales forecasting, sell-in, sell-out, trade promotions, and trade-investment efficiency.
Build and manage a commercial team of approximately three to five people.
Coordinate with marketing and e-commerce teams on omnichannel execution.

Qualifications

Six to eight years of sales-management experience.
Background in established FMCG companies such as P&G, Unilever, Wings, Reckitt, or similar.
Preferably started through a Sales Management Trainee track.
Current or recent experience as Senior Key Account Manager, National Key Account Manager, or Assistant Director.
Strong relationships and negotiation capability across Indonesian modern trade.
Previous experience managing a small team.
Comfortable working hands-on in an early-stage environment.
